How to use Aircall Tags with Jiminny to populate activity types

Aircall Admin Setup

  1. You have to be an admin in Aircall
  2. Open https://dashboard.aircall.io/calls/tags
  3. You can see the list with tags that are added:

Using the +Add a tag you can add more tags.Using the three dots per tag you can edit or delete an existing one. After you add or delete tags in the admin panel the changes in the desktop application won’t be visible until it is restarted.

Aircall desktop application:

  1. Open Aircall application
  2. Dial a number
  3. You can see the tags button there:

Press it and you will get a list of tags:

Select the ones that we want and press done, you can see them later added in the history.

Jiminny setup

  1. Log in to Jiminny with an account that has permission to manipulate playbooks
  2. Go to https://app.jiminny.com/settings/organization/playbooks
  3. Your team playbook should contain activity types which are a perfect match for the tags in Aircall (or vice versa) - if you have a tag “Cold call“ your team should have “Cold call“ as the activity type
  4. If your call has more than one tag Jiminny will use the first perfect match as activity type
