Jiminny requests access to Google Calendars to track meetings. This allows the attendee list, scheduled times and meeting title to be synced.
When users sign up to Jiminny, they'll be asked to give permission to read and write to their calendars. This step can by bypassed by giving Jiminny this permission to the entire team automatically. Only users with access to conference features will have their calendar connected.
Ask your Google Apps Super Admin to complete the following steps:
- Log in to Google Apps Admin
- Open the Google API console
- You'll see a page to Manage API client access:
- Add a new API Client with the following details:
Client Name: 999569653198-3rb6us620h0f2mtk15thr0d5nf2gdun1.apps.googleusercontent.com
This setting can be removed at any time to restore manual authorization.
